Security Bond
A $100.00 pre-authorisation per apartment on the registered guest(s) Debit Visa/MasterCard or Credit Card is required as a security bond upon check in. The pending transaction is a freeze of funds held against the reservation in the circumstance of unpaid booking extras, damages and/or incidentals that may occur during your stay. Rhapsody Resort reserves the right to refuse entry and cancel a reservation if a security bond can not be provided upon check in by the registered guest(s).
Registered Guest
The registered guest(s) is the individual(s) which the reservation name is under and as per the booking confirmation. Valid photo identification from the registered guest(s) is required upon check in. Only the registered guest(s) is permitted to check in to the reservation. The registered guest(s) is personally responsible for the behaviour and conduct of all invited guests and visitors (be it registered or not) of the apartment and/or property.
Payment Policy
Payments processed by Rhapsody Resort are subject to a cost of acceptance fee in accordance with applicable merchant surcharges. Visa, MasterCard and Union Pay payments accepted and incur a 1.4% credit card surcharge. American Express payment accepted and incurs a 2.75% credit card surcharge. Please contact our reservations team to confirm alternative payment methods.
No Party Policy
Rhapsody Resort enforces a strict no party policy and has zero tolerance for parties or gatherings within our apartments and/or facilities. Registered guests only are permitted within the apartments and/or on common property after 10:00pm daily. Rhapsody Resort reserves the right to evict all no registered guests from the apartment at any time.
No Smoking Policy
Rhapsody Resort is strictly a non-smoking building. A zero tolerance stance on smoking, including vaping, is enforced and a minimum charge of $500.00 will be levied for any instances of smoking and/or vaping in the apartment and/or balcony. Please see Rhapsody Resort reception for designated smoking areas during your stay.
Damages Policy
Any damage to apartments and/or facilities and/or common property may result in the eviction of all guests with a forfeit of remaining booking value and the additional cleaning and maintenance/repair costs charged to the registered guest(s). Malicious damage to apartments and/or facilities and/or common property may result in criminal charges. Throwing items from windows and/or balconies is a criminal offence. In addition restitution of $15,000 per breakage will be sought from the registered guest(s) of the reservation in the case where glass panel have been broken as a result of such actions.
RESERVATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
Amendment Policy
All reservations may be amended up to seven (7) days prior to the arrival date. Amendments are subject to availability at the time of request. Date and room type changes may incur a nightly tariff increase and a revised total booking value will be confirmed based off the current market rate as per the reservation amendment made. A reservation can not be amended within seven (7) days prior to the arrival date.
Rate Fluctuation Policy
By making a reservation, you are agreeing to the advertised market rate at the time of booking and understand nightly tariffs are subject to fluctuation. Rhapsody Resort will not reduce or increase the booked value of a reservation in the circumstance of price changes on the confirmed room type and/or travel dates.
Payment Policy
By making a reservation, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions which include a one (1) night non-refundable deposit to be processed from your nominated card details seven (7) days prior to your arrival date.
Cancellation Policy
Rhapsody Resort offers free of charge cancellation on all reservations up to seven (7) days prior to the arrival date. If a reservation is cancelled within 7 days prior to the arrival date, 100% of the total booking value will be forfeited and processed as a cancellation fee.
No Show Policy
A no show is defined as a booking that does not check in on the scheduled reservation arrival date. All no show reservations will be cancelled with 100% of the total booking value forfeited and processed as a cancellation fee. The room will not be held for the booking period or be available for check in after the arrival date. We always recommend you contact Rhapsody Resort if your travel plans change.
SPECIAL EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
Schoolies Policy | Annual Event
The annual School Leavers (Schoolies) Festival takes place during the last two weeks of November. Rhapsody Resort is not an affiliated Schoolies Resort and should not be affected by the event as Rhapsody Resort does not accept any reservations from guests under 21 years of age. Rhapsody Resort reserves the right to refuse any reservation or evict any guest(s) registered or not between the Schoolies age range of 16-21 years. Rhapsody Resort has the right to refuse entry to anyone deemed to be here for the Schoolies Festival or not abiding by our No Party Policy, agreed to at the time of booking. Rhapsody Resort does not have any policies, procedures, or resources in place to accommodate the unique needs of school graduates during the annual Schoolies Festival. Rhapsody Resort does not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of school graduate guests during this period.
V8 Supercars Surfers Paradise Circuit “GC500” | Annual Event
The V8 Supercars Surfers Paradise Circuit “GC500” precinct (including Rhapsody Resort) will be secured during the event period which is typically 3 days. Access to Rhapsody Resort during the event will be via precinct entry gates and a valid event ticket per person will be required. Access outside of event hours will require an accommodation access pass (AAP) per person in addition to a valid event ticket per person in accordance with V8 Supercars track lockdown regulations. All guests staying in-house during the event will need to purchase a valid event ticket and accommodation access pass per person. Reservation Policy: 20% of the total booking value will be processed as a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Within 30 days prior to arrival, 50 % cancellation fee applies and within 14 days prior to arrival, 100% cancellation fee applies.
