NO PARTY POLICY

Rhapsody Resort has a zero tolerance policy on parties held in apartments.

Rhapsody Resort is committed to providing a peaceful and enjoyable environment for all guests and residents. As such, we enforce a strict No Party Policy across the entire property, 24 hours a day.

To maintain the comfort and safety of all visitors, registered guests must read and agree to this policy before check-in. Large gatherings, excessive noise, or anti-social behaviour — including in apartments, common areas, and recreational facilities — will not be tolerated and may result in eviction without refund. Guests are also asked to refrain from bringing excessive amounts of alcohol onto the premises. Any behaviour that disturbs others or places property at risk may lead to immediate action from management or authorities.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain the relaxed and respectful atmosphere that makes Rhapsody a preferred destination on the Gold Coast.

ALCOHOL ON PREMISES

Rhapsody Resort does not allow for excessive levels of alcohol to be brought on to the resort premises. Excessive amounts of alcohol being defined as:

  • Multiple cases/slabs/cartons of beer or cider
  • Multiple bottles/cases of spirits/wine
  • In the event that a registered guest, or any persons associated with that guest, are identified as bringing excessive amounts of alcohol on the resort property, that person will be requested to relinquish the alcohol to the resort. It will then be stored in safekeeping for their retrieval on departure, or alternatively for the alcohol to be permanently removed off the premises.
  • If at any stage should a person be deemed in breach of this policy, and refuse to abide by the resort requests, that person will be requested to leave the premises.

NO SMOKING/VAPING

Rhapsody Resort is a strictly non-smoking and non-vaping property, including all apartments, balconies, car parks, fire stairs, and common areas.

  • Smoking in rooms is strictly prohibited including balcony areas. Any person found doing so will be immediately fined $2000. Failure to pay will result in immediate eviction. A second occurrence will also result in an immediate eviction.
  • This applies to cigarettes, vapes and illicit drugs.
  • Should a room be deemed unusable after you have vacated due to smoking, you will be liable for any lost revenue incurred (charged at 1 room night at the sellable rate for each night the room is unusable).
  • Registered guests may be charged for additional cleaning and damage charges resulting from smoking.

Designated outdoor smoking areas are provided — please speak with reception for directions.

Rhapsody Resort offers limited complimentary visitor parking, located in the secure underground car park. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved in advance.

Visitor parking is permitted only while:

  • Visiting a registered Rhapsody Resort guest
  • Attending a meeting or delivery at the property
  • Accessing the Rhapsody Beachside café or ground-floor retail spaces.

Overnight visitor parking is not permitted unless authorised by management. All visitors must follow signage and park only in clearly marked visitor bays.

Rhapsody Resort offers a serene outdoor lap pool and adjoining spa area for the enjoyment of all guests. To ensure a safe and relaxing environment, we kindly ask all guests and their visitors to follow the pool rules below:

  • Pool and spa facilities are open daily from 7:00am – 10:00pm
  • No lifeguard on duty – use the facilities at your own risk
  • Children under the age of 15 must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult
  • No running, diving, bombing, or horseplay is permitted
  • No ball games, inflatables, or flotation boards allowed
  • Glass, alcohol, and smoking/vaping are strictly prohibited in and around the pool area
  • No bikes, skateboards, scooters, or rollerblades are permitted in the pool zone
  • Pool depth is 1.4 metres throughout
  • Please be respectful of other guests enjoying the facilities

By observing these guidelines, you help ensure a pleasant poolside experience for everyone.

The cardholder named on the reservation must be present to check in and provide valid photo ID.

At check‑in, a $100 pre‑authorisation is placed on the registered guest’s credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay or Amex). This hold remains for the duration of the stay and covers potential incidentals, damages, or extra cleaning charges.

Please note: Any extra charges - such as damages, deep cleaning, missing keys (charged at $5 each), or smoking incidents will be deducted from the bond.

Rhapsody Resort provides guests with access to a modern, well-equipped gymnasium, along with sauna and steam room facilities. To ensure safety and enjoyment for all, we kindly ask that guests observe the following guidelines:

  • Opening hours: Daily from 7:00am – 10:00pm
  • The gym is unsupervised – use at your own risk
  • Children under 16 years are not permitted in the gym, sauna, or steam room
  • Appropriate footwear and exercise clothing must be worn at all times
  • Please wipe down all equipment after use
  • Avoid overexertion – stop exercising if you feel unwell or uncomfortable
  • Do not use the facilities if intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or experiencing any medical condition that may pose a risk
  • Keep walkways between machines clear and tidy
  • No running, horseplay, or disruptive behaviour permitted
  • Use equipment only as directed and report any faults to reception immediately

Misuse of equipment or failure to comply with these guidelines may result in removal of access to the facilities. If you observe any inappropriate behaviour or property damage, please notify Rhapsody Reception or the Duty Manager immediately.
